The term coccygeal is used to describe anything concerned with, or located in, the region of the coccyx (the small bone at the lower end of the spinal column, formed from the fusion of four vertebrae). The coccygeal region of the spinal cord is found at the tail of the spinal cord and gives rise to one coccygeal nerve, which innervates the skin around the anus. |
